[ciò è buono]
"The first time ever i saw your face" will become a classic of a classic - Leona's vocals are stunning -

Whatever It Takes: is smooth and soulful with some really lush strings -

Homeless: is moody chilling and haunting, but delightfully so, its such an emotive track that just sounds better with each play.

Bitter in Time: is once again full of soul and Leona's vocal is as good as it gets, the backing vocals are so harmonically balanced to back her up without stealing the limelight. The lyrics and the rhythm they impose are simply majestic.

Yesterday: Once again, sublime vocals by both the backing singers as well as Leona. The track is divine, press repeat and loop for a while and you'll be in love with it within the hour.

I Will Be : Beautiful strings in the intro and Leona's vocal is most impressive on this track because of the depth of the delivery and her expressive tone rather than the given thank that she can sing very well (to put it mildly). It's a slightly edgy track compared to others on the album and there is so much power evoked - its just a killer cut.

Here I am : Another track that will without any doubt become a classic ballad worlwide. The track is so well arranged and composed and Leona picks it up and puts it down with amazing timing and clarity.

If you are wondering whether or not to buy this album - stop thinking about it and get the credit card out.

Better in Time and worldwide - i really should read the dictionary again - damn it
On I will Be
should read
rather than the given FACT that she can sing

Has anyone noticed yet how much 'Take a Bow' sounds like 'Cry me a River' ?
i've noticed comments are still not deleted [sigh] but am glad indiejujitsuman was not roasted like the chestnuts in camden market. i hope Bar Vinyl and the Jazz Cafe are still alive and kicking as well, they are tube end so i would think they're safe from flame damage. Take a Bow does sound like Cry me a river...
