Bank Holiday Prelude
This is what I've been looking at for the past 6 hours:
If I was one of the ruthlessly talented folk who regularly produce stuff and post it on Vox I probably would have this done in about an hour. Instead I decided to work on this for someone and have really discovered my limitations as a producer. Actually, producer is not quite the right word, 'a bloke with a pc' would probably be closer to the mark.
Bank holiday Monday this weekend, woohoo. Not got anything planned, doh. I should have really thought ahead on that one. Though I may be doing some filming this weekend which will be good fun. Got an interview to do I think.
Last night was a combination of a drink with a friend, then carrying on with the above. "Ooh, it's only a two hour job, I can stay for one more".... idiot.
Not sure what to do tonight, maybe I should economise and stay in. Though a night on the town feels quite appealing. I don't want to head to Camden for once. I'd prefer to try something different. Maybe even head to east London. That would be contraversial. Anyone got any recommendations?
I should get on now. I'm working from home which to a lot of people sounds like skyving, but I really am doing stuff. Now I need to get showered, fed and head to the office sharpish incase I've missed something.

Dunno if you've tried it but I'd suggest you stop working on it for a bit. Sounds like all you need is to regain a bit of focus and objectivity and when you come back to it your head and imporantly your ears will be a lot clearer and rested. Happens a lot. Failing that, I'm with Susie, feel free to Yousendit me the Logic files if you'd like!
Nice little set up you've got there!
I have a similar program, but I haven't used it much because I usually mix all the tracks together with my BR900 CD, and these kinds of programs work better track-by-track, rather than with a whole mix.
-Maybe I should mess with it some, eh?
This weekend, (Saturday) Kansas is doing their free concert at the canal in Tonawanda, NY. -I might go, if it doesn't rain.
