Reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. Always wanted to say that.
I've had man-flu. It's like a cold but involves a lot more whinging and shuffling about at attempts to gain sympathy. So the last thing on my mind was writing blogs n such.
As a result I am way behind on just about everything (you should see my house). I have heaps to listen to, reply to and lots more planning to do aswell.
I was too ill to attend the Ulysees gig on the weekend. They were one of our first ever submissions through the blog. Up there with Beverly Williams and Stine Richard.
I still look like a lepar but am able to move about now.
Anyhoot, let's get this going again. I have a new toy, I've found an online calendar thing in response to Kang's suggestion on the Columbia page.
Click THIS LINK, and add your dates, radio/TV/PR, or whatever to this calendar then everyone can see when you are playing. To be honest, it looks a bit naff but it works well and it's free so I can't complain. Have a look, click the link and start adding events. Don't spam it as it will end up being scrapped.
This is the first experimental tool of a few I'm looking at more to follow. I'm looking at how I can invade facebook and myspace now aswell. I made a sort of Facebook widget thing that I'm playing around with. Don't get me wrong, I'm no technical wiz with programming, app building or anything but I'm still thinking of ways of expanding. Ideas/contributions always welcome.
Right, I've got about 100 tracks to listen to so I better get on with it. Hope all is well out there.
